Ocean quiet today

Spotted the footprints of a couple of people and at least one dog.

I wasn't sure if I'd be able to get through the snow to the beach in January. But there are a couple of houses on the road; so the snow plough evidently comes down this way.

I guess the plough guys decided to carry on the rest of the way to the beach itself. They ploughed just enough to allow a couple of cars to park and be able to turn around to leave. Very thoughtful of them.

Lovely greys and golds as the sun drops lower and lower in the sky.

Forms I haven't seen before. Cracks created by partially frozen sand.

... and bits of snow/sand chunks scattered here and there.
